Adam is a self-taught photographer with a background in Zoology. He gained a MRes in Primatology and a PhD in Ornithology. He has worked and studied in diverse parts of the world including Cambodia, Vietnam, Tanzania, Madagascar, South Africa, Senegal and Greenland. Inspired by the wildlife and places he has seen and visited, Adam has been taking photographs for 20 years. His work has been published in books, magazines and newspapers worldwide.
Adam lives in Aberfeldy with his wife, Anna, and their son. A selection of Adam’s prints are on display in his gallery, Aberfeldy Gallery, with an emphasis on the landscapes and wildlife of Scotland. Adam and Anna took over the gallery in 2017 and Adam’s work sits alongside a wealth of artists and makers from across Scotland.
Adam uses professional Canon dSLRs and top end Canon and Sigma lenses. Archival fine art papers and archival quality pigment inks are used to produce the finest prints possible.
